Magenta Appoints Ken James as Implementation Manager

London, 25 January 2018 – Private hire and taxi dispatch software specialist Magenta Technology has appointed Ken James to the newly created position of Implementation Manager. With over twenty-five years’ experience in transport and fleet management, James will work alongside existing users and support new customers as they come on board with the Magenta’s highly acclaimed ‘autonomics’ dispatch engine.

James started his career as a driver at Addison Lee, one of London’s oldest and most trusted private hire operators. Working his way through the ranks, from Controller to Operations Manager and ultimately Office Manager James built a solid foundation for his future career in transport and fleet management.

During the past twenty five years James has gone on to work with some other well-known brands including LOCOG, the organisation responsible for staging the London 2012 Olympics, eConnect Cars, London’s first all-electric, zero emission private hire and chauffeur service and most recently Creative Cars, where he held the position of Services Manager.

“I am genuinely a big fan of the Magenta technology,” commented Ken James. “From my very early days at Addison Lee right through my career I have watched the solution develop and mature culminating in the launch last year of the first living, breathing, thinking dispatch engine. I am therefore excited to be part of the team; helping existing users realise a return on their investment and supporting new customers as they begin their Magenta journey.”

Since the launch of its new autonomics engine last year Magenta has seen a significant growth in the number of organisations reaping the rewards of real time optimisation, arrival times based on actual traffic conditions and driver availability and live dashboards for monitoring and business planning.
